Rosemary Atim began her dance career at the age of nine during her primary school days at Lohana Academy in Kampala performing Ugandan traditional dances. In 2008, she participated in National dance TV show which saw her emerge as the second winner after Antonio Bukhar who was the winner. During this time, she met current Tabu Flo members Philip Buyi, Viccy Birungi, Alex Mwesiga, Antonio Bukhar among others and later joined the Tabu Flo Dance Company. Rosemary is versatile and diverse dance artist performing Ugandan traditional dance styles , Dancehall, Hiphop, Modern, Afro Jazz, Graham Technique, Whacking, Vogue, House and African Contemporary. With these styles she has been able to Perform in Berlin, London, Dublin, Geneva, Hamburg, to mention but a few, working with different companies and organizations such as International Organization for migration I.O.M, SARAYA, The Association of Dance of the African Diaspora (ADAD) , PEPSI, UMOJA INTERNATIONAL FLYING CARPET, GIZ German Cooperation, among others. Rose is a full time Proffessional dancer who does commercial choreography work , Theatre productions, Product Unveilings, teaching and social work. Dances without purpose have false starts and stops so she uses her talent and passion for the Art form to motivate, inspire the society especially the girl child to reach for their goals and ambitions. Rosemary actively participated in a Cross Cultural Dance Course which is part of the collaboration between the Department of Performing Arts and Film at the Makerere University and the Norwegian College of Dance and has also just completed her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Degree at the Makerere University in Kampala.
